Canon's official setup portal provides drivers and software for all Canon PIXMA, MAXIFY, and imageCLASS printers. This guide covers setup from start to finish.

Before You Begin

  • Keep your WiFi network name (SSID) and password ready
  • Ensure your printer is powered on and has ink cartridges installed
  • Have your computer or mobile device connected to WiFi

Setup on Windows or Mac

Step 1: Start Printer Setup

On your printer, navigate to Settings > Device Settings > LAN Settings > Wireless LAN > Wireless LAN Setup and select Easy Wireless Connect or Standard setup.

Step 2: Connect to WiFi

Using the Standard Setup option, select your WiFi network from the list and enter your password.

Step 3: Download Canon Software

Visit Canon's setup page and enter your printer model. Download Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY for mobile, or the full driver package for desktop.

Step 4: Install and Configure

Run the downloaded installer. It will detect your connected printer and complete the software installation automatically.

Setup on iPhone or Android

  1. Download the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Open the app and tap the + icon to add a printer
  3. Follow the in-app setup wizard to connect your printer to WiFi

Supported Canon Models

Canon's setup portal supports virtually all current PIXMA, MAXIFY, imageCLASS, and SELPHY models. If your model isn't detected, search by series.
