How to Download Brother Printer Drivers

Brother provides free driver downloads for all current and most legacy printer models. Here's how to find and download the right driver.
Step 1: Find Your Printer Model
The model number is printed on the front or top label of your Brother printer (e.g., HL-L2350DW, MFC-J995DW, DCP-L2550DW).
Step 2: Go to Brother's Support Site
Visit Brother's official support site at support.brother.com. Enter your model number in the search box.
Step 3: Select Your Operating System
Choose your OS from the dropdown:
- Windows 10 (32-bit or 64-bit)
- Windows 11
- macOS 12 / 13 / 14 / 15
Step 4: Download the Correct Package
- Full Driver & Software Package: Recommended — includes printer driver, scanner driver, and all utilities
- Printer Driver Only: Smaller download, no scanning utilities
- Network Connection Repair Tool: If your printer was previously connected but stopped working
Step 5: Install
Run the downloaded installer. When prompted, choose your connection type:
- USB: Connect the cable when instructed
- Wireless: Follow the wizard to connect to your WiFi network
- Wired Network: Connect via Ethernet
