When a Lexmark printer won't print, the cause is usually a communication problem, driver issue, or stuck print queue. Here's how to fix it systematically.
Quick Checks
- Is the printer powered on and showing a ready status?
- Is there paper in the tray?
- Is toner or ink available?
- Are there any error messages on the display?
Fix 1: Clear the Print Queue
- Settings > Printers & scanners
- Select Lexmark printer → Open print queue
- Press Ctrl+A then Delete
