WPS PIN on Epson Printer – How to Find and Use It

Category: Setup · Brand: Epson

Epson printers support WPS PIN mode for wireless setup, which is useful when you have access to your router's admin interface.

Finding the WPS PIN on Epson Printers

Touchscreen Models (EcoTank ET, WorkForce Pro)

  1. From the home screen, tap the network icon
  2. Go to Wi-Fi Setup > Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
  3. Select PIN Code Setup
  4. The 8-digit PIN will appear on screen — note it down

Non-Touchscreen Models

  1. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button for 3 seconds until the light flashes
  2. The printer generates a WPS PIN
  3. For models without a screen, print a Network Status Sheet to find the PIN:

- Hold the Wi-Fi button and the power button simultaneously

- The status sheet prints with network details including the WPS PIN

Using the PIN to Connect

  1. Open a browser on a computer connected to your router
  2. Go to your router's IP address (commonly 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1)
  3. Log in and navigate to Wireless > WPS > PIN Entry
  4. Enter the 8-digit PIN from your Epson printer
  5. Click Connect — your printer will join the network

Confirming the Connection

After connecting, the Wi-Fi indicator on your Epson printer will show a steady blue light. Print a network status sheet to confirm the IP address was assigned.

WPS Not Available on Your Router?

Use Epson's Wi-Fi Setup Wizard instead:

  2. Select your network and enter your password
