Kyocera Printer Driver Download & Installation Guide
Category: Drivers · Brand: Kyocera
Kyocera printers — including ECOSYS and TASKalfa series — require the correct driver for full printing, scanning, and finishing capabilities. Kyocera provides drivers through its official support portal.
Where to Download Kyocera Drivers
All Kyocera drivers are available at kyocera.com/us/en/products/printers-multifunctionals or by searching "Kyocera driver download" and selecting your model.
You can also use the Kyocera Product Library — an all-in-one driver package that covers most Kyocera models.
Finding Your Kyocera Model Number
The model number is on the front panel of the printer, typically starting with:
- ECOSYS — energy-efficient mono and color laser printers (e.g., ECOSYS P2235dw, ECOSYS M5526cdn)
- TASKalfa — high-volume MFP series (e.g., TASKalfa 2553ci, TASKalfa 5003i)
- FS series — older laser printers

Troubleshooting Kyocera Driver Issues
Printer not found during install: Ensure the printer is on the same network subnet as your computer. Try adding by IP address: in the driver installer, select Custom Install > TCP/IP and enter the printer's IP.
Scanner not working after driver install: Download the separate TWAIN/WIA scanner driver from the Kyocera support site.
Outdated driver: Kyocera releases driver updates periodically — check the support site for newer versions if you experience issues after a Windows update.
