Ricoh Printer Driver Download & Installation Guide

Ricoh printers — including the SP (single function) and MP (multifunction) series — require the correct driver for printing, scanning, and finishing options. Ricoh provides drivers through its global support portal.

Where to Download Ricoh Drivers

Visit support.ricoh.com and search by model number or product family. You can also go to ricoh.com > Support > Downloads.

Common Ricoh Printer Model Families

  • SP 210 / 211 / 213 — compact mono laser
  • SP 3600 / 4510 — workgroup mono laser
  • SP C250 / C360 — color laser
  • MP 301 / 401 / C307 — multifunction mono and color MFPs

Installing the Driver on Windows

  1. Go to support.ricoh.com and enter your model number
  2. Click Drivers and select your Windows version
  3. Download the PCL6 Driver (standard) or PostScript Driver (for advanced graphics/publishing)
  4. Run the downloaded .exe installer as administrator
  5. Choose your connection: USB, Network (IP address), or Auto Detect
  6. Follow the setup wizard and print a test page to confirm

Installing the Ricoh Universal Print Driver

For environments with multiple Ricoh devices, the Ricoh Universal Print Driver (PCL6 or PS) supports all modern Ricoh printers from one install:

  1. Download the Ricoh Universal Print Driver from support.ricoh.com
  2. During installation, select Network and click Search to auto-detect all Ricoh printers
  3. Add the printers you want and complete the setup

Installing the Driver on Mac

  1. Download the Mac driver package (.dmg) from support.ricoh.com
  2. Open the .dmg and run the installer — enter your Mac password when prompted
  3. Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners and click +
  4. Select your Ricoh printer from the list or add by IP address

Installing the Scanner Driver (TWAIN/WIA)

For MFP scan functionality on Windows:

  1. Download the TWAIN or WIA scanner driver from support.ricoh.com
  2. Install it after the printer driver
  3. Use Windows Scan, Ricoh Scan, or any TWAIN-compatible app to scan

Troubleshooting

Printer not found on network: Print a Configuration Page from the printer's menu to find its IP address, then add it manually in the driver installer.

PostScript driver not available: Some SP series models only support PCL — check the support page for the driver types available for your model.
